As the go-to guitarist of the @Homies collective, Luke Mara (a.k.a Lightfall) has a knack for writing very dreamy and spacious guitar progressions. He has even recently expanded on that talent using loop and effects pedals. With all those skills in hand, it wouldn’t be long before Luke started to put out his own material. This would come to fruition through his lofi/chillhop pseudonym, Lopht.

The material I have mixed for him attempts to strike the balance between dynamic, quiet chill-hop with a fullness and detail that makes it stand out from the usual aesthetic trappings of lofi hip-hop. Overall, I am very satisfied with our current collaborations and will continue to mix his subsequent releases in the future.
